The position will be part of the Sales Engineering and Solution Analysis Department and will report to the Sales Engineering and Solution Analysis Director.
The primary purpose of this role is to analyze, design, and present solutions within the scope of an automated system. This role is also responsible for the simulation of the solution to validate the design.
Responsibilities:
- with potential and existing customers to evaluate their needs and understand their processes
- from the customer the Data (real or realistic) defining the project flows and throughputs (production rates and codes, shipments rates, distribution and codes, warehouse utilization ).
- a static analysis of the data to identify critical items in the project.
- analysis of data to identify current system status.
- simulation models to illustrate and validate the proposed solutions
- and customize existing simulation objects to be used in specific case study
- simulation campaigns and analyze simulation results.
- proposals by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions
- documentation reporting the functional description of the project and the data analysis done
- with the system engineer to develop the bid package including material flows, functional descriptions, proposals, presentations and other material to effectively communicate the solution to the client.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial) or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
- Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies
- Knowledge in warehouse management and production plant logistics preferred
- Technical knowledge of the high-volume consumer products industry preferred
- Experience in Software Engineering, System engineering, business analysis or software planning
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required
- Technically Curious, passionate on technology
- Proficiency with the following software packages: FlexSim or any Discrete Event Simulation software, Microsoft Office, AutoCad 2004 or newer.
