Job Details

Helio, a growing captive management and risk consulting firm, is looking for a highly motivated professional to join us. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering financial reporting and oversight, regulatory compliance, and operational support to a growing portfolio of captive insurance company clients.

Requirements and skills needed for the role are as follows.

  • Captive management or relevant regulatory/financial services experience of at least 2 (prefer 5) years
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Competency with Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with broader M365 applications a plus
  • Willingness to learn, solve problems, and make recommendations for improvement across all aspects of Helio s business model while exhibiting integrity, accountability, and enthusiasm
  • Self-driven with the ability to work as part of a team or on individually-assigned tasks in a fast-paced environment where superior attention to detail, time management, and client service skills are essential
  • High standards for work product and ability to share and receive constructive criticism and ideas
  • Consistent with the responsibility for multiple client accounts with oversight, ability to focus on a priority task while triaging inbound requests, pivoting to a higher-priority item when required


Responsibilities include the following.

  • Daily verbal and written client, regulator, and third-party service provider communications emphasizing accurate, timely responses and follow up of all communication received
  • Draft, review, and deliver high quality client financial and regulatory reports and filings
  • Assist with coordinating treasury management services for captive clients
  • Prepare for and attend client board meetings as needed, assist with preparation of client deliverables
  • Coordinate implementation of new captives and business plan changes of existing captives
  • Support client financial audits, regulator exams, and other reviews by external parties as required
  • Expand knowledge base of both industry and toolset, including learning new skills and procedures


The annual salary range for this position is $65,000-$95,000. Pay offered will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, and location, and each candidate will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
