About the Position
As an Electrical Engineer, you are tasked with assisting in development efforts for electric ground support equipment and any systems related to said equipment. You will help in research and development of new technologies to use on RCL equipment. You will also provide technical assistance where needed with different production-related electrical issues as they arise.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in development efforts for electric ground support equipment and any systems related to said equipment
- Assisting in research and development of new technologies for RCL equipment
- Prepare technical proposals and quotes based on research and development needs
- Provide technical assistance in production-related issues as well as issues in the field
- Develop and manage ground support equipment electrical architecture and its related sub-systems
- Direct preparation of layouts, drawing, specifications and bill of material
- Establish priority for work related to others, knowing that needs will fluctuate
- Provide leadership based on electrical knowledge, helping to educate other technical staff
Requirements
- 5+ years of prior experience in an electrical engineering role
- Bachelor's degree in a field of engineering; electrical engineering specifically is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work on a team
- Willingness to learn the ground support equipment industry; prior experience is a plus
