Job Description:
Our construction client is seeking a bilingual Payroll that will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the sub-contractor payroll data. This position will be responsible for the administration of payroll data , recruiting, employee development, policy and employee records.
Essential Job Functions:
- Payroll Administration - Enter the weekly subcontractor payment requests into our database, review and submit to payroll administrator for paycheck processing.
- Recruiting - posting, screening and onboarding candidates for employment.
- Employee Development - Support the management team by recording and tracking employee development plans.
- Policy Administration - Prepare policies and procedures handbooks in conjunction with the Operations Manager, to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Benefits and Insurance - Assist with annual enrollment and other benefit administration matters; conduct insurance verification and tracking for subcontractors.
- Process employee terminations in a timely manner in accordance with state laws
- Maintain employee files
Qualifications:
Salary range is based on experience.
1-3 years of payroll experience is being sought.
Bilingual
Degree preferred, but previous experience working in HR is considered.
Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks; excellent attention to detail; ability to work independently or as part of a team.
