Job Summary:
The Automotive Product Specialist at Suburban Subaru is responsible for selling new and pre-owned vehicles to customers in the Vernon (Hartford), Connecticut area. Suburban Subaru has been in business for over 35 years and provides our sales department with a fantastic F&I team! This is a full-time, individual contributor position that offers an excellent compensation plan- base salary, plus commission. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the automotive industry, excellent sales and customer service skills, and a drive to meet and exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Conduct sales consultations with customers to identify their needs and recommend vehicles and options to meet those needs
- Conduct test drives and vehicle demonstrations for customers
- Close deals and complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently
- Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction and maintain long-term relationships- utilizing our CRM system
- Meet and exceed sales targets and goals set by management
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to effectively sell and promote vehicles
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in automotive sales preferred
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and commission-driven environment
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Proficient in computer and internet use
