1. Purpose of Position
Conducts consistent outreach activities to increase the number of people participating and provide direct service for clients in the Crime Victim Service Program.

2. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Helps clients to create the personal safety plan;
Helps clients navigate to the court system,
Support clients to fill out the any benefit enrollment application including the crime victim compensation plan;
Support outreach events to promote programs.
Enters data daily on Infonet database portal accurately and timely;
Complete the training required by the contract.
Participates in staff meetings.
Performs other duties as assigned.

3. Position Requirements, Competencies and Qualifications
Vietnamese (or other Asian Bilingual) is required.
Satisfactorily pass background and reference checks;
Must have current driver's license, reliable transportation, current auto insurance if driving;
Proficient in MS Office, MS Excel;
Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills;

3.1 Education
High school diploma, GED or foreign equivalent required;
College degree is preferred in social service, criminal justice, or a related field.
3.2 Experience
Experience in community outreach, social service, and/or organizing preferred.

4. Working Conditions
Ability to work in an office environment
Ability to travel to different locations
Work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, standing, bending, reaching, twisting, and traveling

5. Physical Requirements
Ability to apply principles of logical thinking, to define problems
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagrammatic or schedule form
Ability to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of the position
Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less, up to 20 feet or more
