Milwaukee manufacturing is looking to hire an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and run a Vertical and Horizontal CNC Machining Center. This is a fast-paced manufacturing environment with great pay and benefits on first shift.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform daily machine startup and shutdown procedures on CNC machining center.
- Setup and operate CNC machining center; vertical and horizontal.
RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS OF THE CNC MACHINIST:- 3 or more years of CNC machine operating experience.
- Able to work independently with dedication to quality.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Basic ability to read and understand blueprints, measuring devices and other shop drawing aids.
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic parts, fittings and assemblies.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement.
- Excellent attendance and a positive, "can do" attitude.
