Job Details
This role employs entry level programming and design techniques that ensure adherence to software development standards, performance efficiency, reliable and maintainable code, and self-documenting programs. Must have a basic understanding of application development methodologies and techniques. Drafts and updates detailed project plans for small projects or portions of larger projects. Assists in testing, debugging, maintaining, and documenting components of information systems applications. Understands basic business processes and transforms them into programming logic. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. ; Skills: ; experience on a project team, and an FDA-regulated industry (pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics) preferred.
Key activities:
1. Provide technical, project and administrative support to Pharmacovigilance operations teams for defined applications and tools:
a. Monitor PV Ops applications performance and troubleshoot/escalate issues as applicable.
b. Address teams applications requests
c. Build libraries, workflows, forms, etc. as necessary
2. Assist with special projects as requested by manager
a. Participate in UAT
b. Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical solutions.
c. Participate in the development and delivery of relevant training for PVOps teams.
3. Interact effectively with internal and cross-functional teams as necessary
4. Serve as a point of contact for information regarding areas of responsibility
Knowledge and skills:
Working experience in PowerApp/PowerAutomate
General Sharepoint experience in permissions, folder structure, troubleshooting SharePoint issues, page development
Knowledge of MS applications
Knowledge of safety systems (ARISg/Argus) is an asset
Understanding of software development lifecycle and development standards, including validation methodology
Understanding of global regulatory requirements for pharmacovigilance
Organization, prioritization, planning and measurement of work deliverables
Ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally
Work independently and proactively; recognize and escalate issues
