Job Title: Press OperatorJob DescriptionWe're seeking a Press Operator to join our team. Your primary responsibilities will involve operating a metal stamping press for specific jobs. This will involve interpreting information from work orders and blueprints and manufacturing the product accordingly. You will also learn to set up for each job and a large portion of your role will involve loading and packing parts under the direction and guidance of a supervisor. Your work will be divided into 40% machine operation and setup, and 60% loading and packing parts.Hard Skills1+ years experience operating a Stamping Press or operating CNC Machines1+ years experience reading BlueprintsExperience reading a tape measure and calculating basic mathSoft SkillsAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamExcellent interpretation skillsAdherence to safety protocolsJob TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Columbus, Ohio.Work EnvironmentYou will be working in a clean manufacturing environment. Please note that the environment can be loud and heavily production-based. You could be working alone or with one other person, in your own small area for 10 hours a day. We operate in two shifts: 2nd shift from Monday to Thursday, 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM, and 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
