REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 5 years of enterprise software development in C/C++ with demonstrated experience designing and implementing product requirements
- Experience developing and debugging software in a Linux environment
- Comfortable on a Linux command line interface
- Experience with scripting (Bash, POSIX shell)
- Experience with basic FLOSS development tools (gcc, binutils, strace, valgrind, etc.)
- Experience performing peer code review
- Motivated, self-starting, and eager to learn
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and implement software and systems based on defined requirements for existing and upcoming cryptographic products
- Participate in software product design and architecture discussions
- Confer with software team members and solutions architects to develop, understand, and update requirements for product features
- Read and comply with published standards and technical documentation
- Write and maintain programming documentation on subjects including code, API functionality, and software issue creation/resolution
- Maintain confidentiality with regard to information being processed, stored, or accessed
- Lead and mentor junior engineers
STRONGLY PREFER
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or related field
- Knowledge of the application of cryptographic concepts
- Experience with version control software (git)
- SQL experience and strong understanding of relational databases
- Experience with TLS and PKI certificates
- Experience using Jenkins and Jenkins files for CI/CD
- Experience using enterprise tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and GitLab
- Experience using Berkeley socket API
