Position Overview
The Warehouse Associate participates in warehouse operations and related activities. Warehouse Associate responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing and shipping orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Receive a 10% premium on wages worked during 2nd Shift.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (pick, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (unload trucks, inspect materials, perform receiving transactions, store materials in designated locations)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Perform material handling tasks as assigned
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Complete daily tasks as assigned
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and policies
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience - Proven work experience in all functions of a warehouse
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
- Familiarity with warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Current forklift license
