A US subsidiary sales office of a leading electronic parts and ceramics substrates manufacturer is looking for a business development representative who will be a core team member in growing the US business.
We are seeking an ideal candidate who brings more than 5 years of valuable sales experience in the semiconductor and/or electronics industries. Your Japanese language skills will be a significant asset in our international operations.
As a Business Development Senior Representative , this individual will take the initiative to lead sales activities and administrate adequate plans for the control of operations in following fields.
- Research prospecting new customers from scratches by making cold calls and meeting by online or visiting them in various industries with the company's products.
- Maintains existing customers by facilitating regular meetings, promoting new products with better pricing, suggesting improved logistics. Some business travel will be involved.
- Coordinates to open booth for some trade shows and attends the show aggressively to promote products.
- Prepare presentation materials for expecting customers, and sales/marketing related document to report to management
- Other special projects assigned by the Sales Manager
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA/BS in Business field. Electronics/Material Engineering background is highly appreciated, but not required.
- Previous Sales, Business Development, Account Management experience; 5 years in Semi-conductor related industry highly desired.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Japanese Bilingual is highly beneficial.
- Strong computer skills, including the ability to create and maintain complex documents, spreadsheets, ledgers, reports, etc.
- Ability to travel business trip within US, Canada, and Japan.
