One of the most critical industries in our society is currently plagued by 3 billion hours in unrealized human potential and over $70 billion in energy waste. At the same time, the tech industry has largely overlooked the problem, resulting in a massive need to be addressed.


Facilities management employs over two million people in the United States and stands as the silent backbone of our community. The dedicated professionals in this sector ensure our essential physical infrastructure remains operational every single day. Yet, they re burdened by persistent inefficiencies which are further amplified by subpar software solutions.


What: Our Vision

At nodafi, we re on an audacious mission to reclaim 1 billion hours for the hardworking individuals who maintain our physical infrastructure. We believe that people working in the real economy deserve beautiful, intuitive software tools that empower them in their work.


We are hiring our first marketer to help us build the foundation for growth at nodafi. We have some great early customers who love our product. We are looking to build on our positioning, messaging, and story to find repeatable ways to reach our next set of potential customers. We need a generalist marketer who has experience in both product marketing and growth marketing.


How: Your Impact

As the Founding Marketer at nodafi, you will be pivotal in bringing our vision to life and communicating it to the world. Your roles and responsibilities will include:


  • Strategic Leader: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with our company goals.
  • Team Builder: Manage and expand a team of marketers (contractors, agencies and full time hires) passionate about our mission and story. You'll be hands-on, both leading and executing alongside them.
  • Bricklayer: We do not have all of our tools, processes, and workflows built out yet. You will need to help build this out, figure out what works, and test and scale.
  • Cross-Functional Collaborator: Collaborate on strategy across the company, be the voice of the customer, provide the marketing perspective, and serve as the liaison between product and GTM functions.
  • Product Messaging Maestro: Dive deep into audience insights, develop precise positioning and messaging, and communicate the product's benefits clearly to our audience.
  • Champion of Growth: Launch, track, and optimize programs/campaigns across multiple channels to move prospects and customers down the funnel.
  • Content Visionary: Own the content calendar and tell the story of your brand and company in order to engage prospects, customers, candidates, and partners.
  • Brand Builder: Collaborate on the company story and vision with the founding team and make sure our communications add value to our audience and maintain a high quality bar.
  • Marketing Frontliner: Roll up your sleeves and do the work to support the team and our goals.
  • Partnership Strategist: Maintain crucial media relationships and develop strategic partnerships that advance our objectives.
  • Performance Manager: Oversee the marketing budget and KPIs to ensure efficiency and goal achievement.


Who: You are

  • Seasoned Marketer: With 7+ years in marketing, particularly in SaaS environments, you bring a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record.
  • Marketing Polymath: Breadth in all areas of marketing, depth in product marketing and growth marketing.
  • Effective Leader: You re a leader with experience building and nurturing marketing teams.
  • Opinionated and Resourceful: You have recommendations for tools, contractors, etc to build out the foundation of a marketing team that can scale effectively.
  • Overachiever: You've developed marketing strategies and tactics that put the customer first and understand to hit revenue goals at the same time.
  • Builder: You thrive in early stage startup settings, ready to roll up your sleeves and build marketing foundations from scratch.
  • Innovative and Scrappy: Innovation is your default mode. You're always ready to experiment and adapt, driving projects to success.
