TekPro is partnered with a world leader in custom food/beverage packaging machinery in their search for a Field Service Technician! This position is 80% travel and will require that the Technician lives near a major airport in the U.S.
*Expertise in high speed can-seamer machines preferred*
The ideal candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities including maintenance, repair, and calibration of field equipment (trouble shooting). The successful candidate will be a problem solver who is responsive to customers' needs.
Responsibilities
- Complete and turn in field reports that capture all time and work completed on site
- Provide diagnostic analysis, repair, or preventative maintenance to customers
- Complete on-site system audits and evaluations
- Practice and adhere to all safety and training
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- 5+ years' installing and maintaining Seamers
- Ability to travel
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
This position comes with exceptional hourly pay from $40 to $50/hr plus, and benefits to include 7% 401k match, health, dental, vision, basic life insurance covered 100% by the employer
This is a demanding position that will require 80% travel. We are looking for a true road-warrior type of technician.
