We are working with a client in the education space that is looking for a Director level Data Scientist to oversee their Artificial Intelligence initiatives. This individual will be leading a small team of Data Scientists that will work on projects related to admissions, retention, and financial outcomes.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's degree in a quantitative field.
- 8 years of relevant work experience in predictive modeling.
- 3+ years of direct management experience.
- Extensive experience in NLP and the design, development, and application of LLM s and multi-modal AI.
- Expert in front-end language (JavaScript, CSS) and at least one compiled language (e.g., Java, C) and one dynamic scripting language (e.g., Python).
- Knowledge of UI/UX design.
- Strong Python skills and experience with a front-end language (JavaScript, CSS) and at least one compiled language (Java, C).
- Proven record of communicating technical results and insights to senior leadership.
This is a HYBRID position working out of Chicago or Columbia, MD. Base salary up to $170K + 25% bonus + LTI. Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
