Our client, a leading investment manager, is looking to add a dynamic Corporate Counsel to focus on their various infrastructure products that include renewables, utilities, district energy, and public private partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Offer legal guidance and expertise in structuring, negotiating, and executing financing arrangements for energy projects, including but not limited to project acquisitions, development, and ongoing asset management.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of documents, from term sheets to power purchase agreements
- Delve into the progression, financing, acquisition, disposition, and restructuring of infrastructure projects.
- Provide legal support for various aspects of asset management, including portfolio management, restructuring, and divestitures in the energy sector
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in energy/utility transactions, project finance, public-private partnerships, infrastructure, and/or M&A
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Ability to independently handle energy and infrastructure transactions.
