SharePoint Developer

Responsibilities:
This position supports the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Deputy Commander, Total Force/Corporate Operations (SEA 10) and/or Command Administrative Services (SEA 00A).
NAVSEA is the Department of Navy's (DON's) central activity for designing, engineering, integrating, building, and procuring U.S. Naval ships, shipboard weapons, and combat systems.NAVSEA's responsibilities also include the maintenance, repair, modernization, and conversion of in-service ships and their weapons and combat systems.
The candidate will provide SharePoint development support to the SEA10/00 iNAVSEA SharePoint site(s), and any succeeding collaboration site/tool sites and sub-sites serving as SharePoint Developers (SSD) providing cutting edge, timely design products within Navy guidelines from concept to delivery.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Provide SharePoint development for SharePoint site, and any succeeding collaboration site/tool site, including requirements gathering, design reviews, developing sites and sub-sites, testing, assisting with customer testing and deployment.
- Support efforts and provide expertise and development in SharePoint to create sites and sub-sites.
- Maintain, develop, and improve SharePoint site, and any succeeding collaboration site/tool sites including development of new sites, and enhancements to existing sites.
- Evaluate or approve documents and images to translate into hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for web page development.
- Develops end-user applications for SharePoint 2019/SharePoint Online (or higher) including workflow, custom web part, and PowerApps/PowerAutomate
- Utilize solutions for processes such as Developing custom InfoPath, QuickPay forms and custom solutions that interfaces with SharePoint 2019/SharePoint Online (or higher) lists and libraries.
- Preliminary Site Architecture; Website Design Mockups; SharePoint Customization; Workflows; PowerApps, PowerAutomate, HTML/CSS Template Creation; Content Management System and Content Integration; Site Launch; Site Maintenance and Enhancements of Current Sites/Tools; Gather Requirements; Provide Demonstrations of Tools/Websites to Audience
- SharePoint 2019 Upgrade/SharePoint Online Migration
- Develop Staff Code; Administrator Training Guide; Internal SharePoint Helpdesk Roles/Routing Practices
- Conducts Basic, Intermediate and Advanced SharePoint 2019/SharePoint Online Training Courses.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a closely related field is preferred.
- Must be a US Citizen with a Secret Security Clearance
- The developer must be skilled at all levels with developing in a Microsoft O365 environment.Simply developing in SharePoint without O365 experience will not suffice.
- The developers should also have 1-2 years of administration experience as well.We are in search of a talented SharePoint developer that can create and configure SharePoint websites, find solutions, and customize sites based on the client's needs. In this role, you'll need experience in converting processes into SharePoint workflows; interfacing with project managers, government personnel, other developers, and admins, and following systems engineering life cycle best practices.
- We are seeking Developers at Junior, Mid, and Senior levels.Minimum of 2 years relevant experience required for Junior level positions.
- A team-oriented outlook with outstanding customer service experience.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines, work independently and with sufficient knowledge, present projects to senior management.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment accepting emergent tasks with little to no supervision and/or direction.
