Description

Job Summary:

The Primary Function of the Service Concierge is to facilitate verbal and written communication between the customer and the repairing dealership. Using technology and effective communication skills to convey information regarding the vehicle's status, such as campaigns, recalls, and various engine warning lights. Assist the service department with administrative duties as needed.

Essential Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities for the position on a daily, weekly or annual basis.

Monitor all Palmer locations through Decisiv for Concierge.

Monitor Truck Tech + and communicate to all concierge and local customers.

Run reports in Truck Tech + and relay pertinent information to the appropriate people.

Monitor Eportal for open Campaigns, Recalls, and notify the appropriate person.

Communicate with Concierge customers twice daily with repair updates and keep detailed information via spreadsheets.

Help allocate parts when necessary through Corporate Parts Team or Parts CounterReps.

Follow code red S.O.P.'s for escalation of customer downtime.

Maintain communication with other Fleet Specialists throughout the Kenworth Dealer Network.

Enroll new employees in various technical websites.

Data collecting and maintaining reports via in-house websites, such as Blaze, DSI, E-portal, Cummins, and Paccar.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Position requires a high school diploma, valid drivers license and clean driving record. 2 to 3 years data input and data analysis work experience.

Physical Demands

Working Conditions are normal for an office environment. Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and gloves. Loose-fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical demand: Candidates must be able to sit for long hours and climb stairs and lift 50 lbs by themselves or 75 lbs with assistance.

Visual: candidate must have good vision either naturally or assisted and be cable of working on a computer for extended periods of time.

Hearing / audio: candidate must have good hearing either naturally or assisted allowing for verbal communication in person or over the phone.
