Location: Commerce, Ca
Job Overview: Position responsible for verification of product quality through inspection of in-process product and observation of finished product for conformance to internal specifications, customer specifications as documented in the Quality Policy, within the mandates of the Quality Management System and supporting of the Quality Objectives.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform First Article inspection at initiation of manufacturing.
- Collect and inspect all samples to assure that required dimensional, physical and visual requirements are being verified and data is accurately recorded.
- Perform required testing to verify conformance of product to requirements.
- Record data as hard copy, electronically and in specified log books as required.
- Initiate Non-Conformance reports as required.
- Obtain and record retain and pre-shipment sample results as required.
- Support activities for CAPA, NCR, and customer complaint investigations.
- Proficient in the use of computers.
Requirements
- Must be able to speak, write, and understand English
- Minimum requirement of Associates degree.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of computers.
- Experienced in an ISO or FDA regulated industry a plus.
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Experience working with testing equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc) required
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language as determined through appropriate testing and/or the interview process.
- Mathematics and reasoning skills as determined through applicable aptitude and achievement tests.
Shift:Thursday- Saturday 6 am-6 pm with alternating Wednesday s 6 am- 6pm.
