Why is This a Great Opportunity?

We are seeking a temporary consultant with expertise in operations, inventory management, and accounting to develop an efficient inventory process for three brands within our organization. The role involves setting up inventory systems, ensuring proper documentation, and training staff to maintain accurate and scalable inventory management practices. This position is 100% remote but may require occasional travel over the course of the contract. The duration is approximately 10-12 weeks.

Job Description:

Assess and improve current inventory processes for three brands

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet reporting and operational needs

Implement and document a scalable inventory management process

Train staff on the new processes and systems, providing ongoing support

Standardize SKUs and align inventory systems across brands

Ensure accurate communication between inventory, shipping, and ecommerce systems

Design and implement a monthly inventory audit process

Monitor and adjust inventory levels, recommending improvements as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field

7+ years of experience in operational and inventory management

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Experience with SkuVault, Shopify, and Shipstation is a plus

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
