M & M Productions USA is a busy audiovisual production company located in Oak Ridge, TN, seeking an experienced Electronics Bench Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various types of electronic equipment used in our production operations.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment such as amplifiers, mixers, microphones and speakers.
- Repair and test circuit boards, power supplies and other electronic components.
- Identify and replace faulty components using a variety of tools and test equipment.
- Work with schematics, wiring diagrams and technical manuals to diagnose and repair equipment.
- Assist in the maintenance of production equipment, including setup and tear-down of audio and video equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
Requirements- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in electronic circuitry, circuit board repair and light mechanical ability.
- Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
- Ability to use a variety of tools and test equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics is preferred.
- Must be able to work 20-25 hours per week.
