Our client seeking a highly skilled and motivated Protein Scientist to join their Protein Lab. They're a small pharmaceutical company with a big impact where you will help them bring innovative therapeutic products from initial academic research to human proof-of-concept clinical studies. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting Lab personnel in recombinant protein synthesis research and development and manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Support the CPL Team with reagent preparation (e.g., buffers and solutions).
- Assist in bacterial cell culture and processing for recombinant protein expression.
- Perform assays for protein characterization and analytics (e.g., SDS-PAGE, Western Blots).
- Follow standard lab procedures and protocols to complete tasks.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher in life sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field.
- Familiarity with basic lab techniques and lab safety procedures.
- Previous research experience preferred, but not required.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
