Position Summary:As a member of the Student Records Team this position will serve as an expert in processing graduation applications and evaluating student records for program completion, including application of course substitutions and waivers. This position also serves as a primary liaison between Student Records and the campus community concerning program completion clarification and questions. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for processing and evaluating all graduation applications. Send follow-up communication to the applicant via the College's CRM program, TargetX (powered by Salesforce). Enforce all program requirements and enter approved substitutions or waivers into the degree audit system, DegreeWorks. Responds to faculty, staff, and students' questions and concerns related to programs and policies. Provides and sets a high standard of professionalism by providing high quality customer service to students, the general public, and university faculty and staff with a focus on care and being solution-oriented. Prepare and distribute program completion reports to academic divisions and departments. Extract, analyze, and report student information for student outcomes data collection and reporting. Notify students, departments, and administration of proposed graduates; prepare report for board action and graduation. Work with external vendors to produce official diplomas and certificates of completion. Responsible for processing degree verification requests from the NSC (National Student Clearinghouse). Assists with preparation, planning, rehearsal, and day of coordination of the honors and commencement ceremonies. Serve as backup to other records staff as needed. This would primarily include evaluating outside transcripts to determine transferability to the College and posting traditional and non-traditional transfer credit. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by the supervisor. Hours/Schedule: Variable hours, Monday through Saturday 8:00AM - 7:00PM.This position is identified as Work from Home eligible up to two ( 2) days per week, based on determination that essential duties can 1) be performed outside of the worksite, 2) be performed without access to equipment, material, and files located on campus, 3) be performed without face to face contact with supervisor, students or staff, and 4) be performed remotely with an overall neutral effect on students, co-workers, and the organization as a whole.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: High school Diploma or GED equivalent and 45 credit hours in related coursework and five (5) years relevant work experience OR the equivalent combination of education and work experience. Experience in student services, preferably in advising, admissions and/or student records. Good working knowledge of student records procedures/functions and College policies. Experience with Access, Excel and Word. Experience in using computer networks, email, and web products. Experience with data extraction, manipulation, and reporting. Ability to interact with College staff at all levels including faculty, department chairs and deans. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills to effectively deal with various college and community constituents. Ability to accurately perform tasks in busy, high-stress environment and work with minimal direct supervision. Knowledge of FERPA and the ability to appropriately handle confidential materials.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional Preferred Qualifications: Experience with evaluating degree requirements. Experience with degree audit systems such as DegreeWorks is preferred. Experience with Target X and/or Salesforce preferred. Experience working with enterprise resource systems, preferred experience with Student Information Systems such as Ellucian/Banner.
