The Concrete Plant Operator/General Maintenance performs a combination of duties involving general plant maintenance and operation of mobile equipment.
**Duties:**
* Completes daily service requirements of the ready mix plant; helps inspects plant for preventative maintenance issues
* Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance problems to ensure efficient operations
* General maintenance of water pumps and electrical requirements and wear prevention of equipment
* Operate front end loaders and forklifts
* Performs general maintenance on conveyor belts, pumps and ready mix plant equipment

**Required Skills & Experience**
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ready-mix operations, concrete operations and/or construction industry required
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a operating a loader in a Concrete batch plant environment
* Self-directed, results-oriented, and highly motivated, requiring minimal direct guidance
* Valid drivers license and ability to maintain a clean motor vehicle record required
* Work with minimum supervision
* Able to lift and carry 50 pounds, climb stairs/ladders up to 24 feet.
