HDR is hiring a Site Civil Project Manager for our Building Engineering Services (BES) based in Orlando, Florida.This position can be based out of our Tampa office as well.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Execute projects and manage and develop multidiscipline teams utilizing HDR's business systems and project management tools
  • Perform client development and management activities to support the Building Engineering Services (BES) team
  • Plan and develop projects or design activities with significant impact on major company programs as needed
  • Design, plan production, and produce technical reports for general civil tasks on a wide variety of projects, including site layouts, grading & drainage, paving, site utilities, and associated civil engineering activities
  • May have the opportunity to lead and mentor other staff
  • Interact and serve as primary point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Participate in leadership meetings for external marketing and planning
  • Contract preparation and negotiation, scheduling, budgeting, invoicing, and project quality control
  • Some regional/national travel will be expected
  • Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience leading design teams and projects focused on site civil projects through the planning, design, permitting and construction phases
  • Skilled in communicating with clients, coordinating with sub-consultants, and delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Master's degree
  • PMP certification


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 7 years related experience
  • A minimum 2 years project management experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • MS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience would be plus)
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
