OVERVIEW:

Our client is a leading payments technology company delivering innovative software and services to our customers globally. Their corporate development group works on strategically important projects and reports directly to C-suite. The team is responsible for the sourcing, evaluation, execution, and integration of mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures for multiple business units across the US and internationally.


CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT MANAGER:

The Corporate Development Manager will be an integral part of the team, actively participating in every aspect of the company s M&A efforts. The team takes a collaborative, hands-on approach, and the manager will work with junior and senior team members on small, fast-moving deal teams. With support from the Corporate Development Associates, the manager s key responsibilities will include:

  • Financial modeling and analyses
  • Preparation of presentations for management and board of directors
  • Identify and evaluate potential acquisition candidates; lead all aspects of acquisition valuation, term sheet preparation, due diligence, and assist with negotiations
  • Industry and company research
  • Interaction and coordination with colleagues across the company, as well as external parties including investment bankers, private equity firms, and other companies


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 to 7 years in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or other related experiences required
  • Bachelor's degree with a business degree preferred
  • Experience directing a team of analysts and/or associates
  • Extensive experience with financial analysis in Excel, including merger models and LBO/cash flow modeling
  • Experienced with principles of valuation of public and private companies, including comparable companies and precedent transactions analyses
  • Detailed understanding of financial markets, M&A deal process, and public companies
  • Knowledge of payments or software industries preferred
  • Familiarity with FactSet, Capital IQ, PitchBook, and Wall Street research
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Accountability and ownership of one's work product
  • Ability to balance multiple fast-paced, unpredictable projects
  • Outstanding written and spoken communication skills
