Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Detail events with clients and Events Team to ensure client satisfaction, including speaking and emailing with clients, answers questions, sending Banquet Event Orders for approval, and recording event payments.
  • For thoroughly knowing the property and package offerings for Goodstone Weddings, Social, and Corporate Events.
  • Conduct research and studies of the local marketplace to capitalize effectively on our venues strengths and competitors weaknesses.
  • The position requires the candidate to follow defined event processes and to be self-motivated to follow and report on those processes.
  • For providing support during the day of events to ensure the success of each event.
  • For creating Event Orders for events and assisting with rental orders.
  • Coordinates with the event host on all aspects of the banquet function.
  • Oversee all aspects of assigned banquet function activities, ensuring that food counters are correctly set and ready for execution at the appointed time.
  • Ability to respond quickly and accurately to guest services and other departments.
  • Work with clients to create accurate guest room lists, and room resumes for each event.
  • Create event-printed materials, such as menus, agendas, or signs.
  • Display good customer relation skills and take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly manner.
  • Plan the event course and orchestrate its completion promptly, quietly, and courteously.


Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Degree preferred but not required
  • years of proven hotel group/event experience, specifically in corporate/catering service segments
  • communications and presentation abilities

  • Ability to define and follow standard event processes
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to problem-solve
  • Basic knowledge of Audio-Visual components

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional hospitality environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
