Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Records Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working in a legal records department, with a strong understanding of legal document management and storage practices.
- Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic legal files
- Ensure all documents are filed accurately and in a timely manner
- Retrieve files as requested by legal staff
- Assist with document scanning and indexing
- Update and maintain the legal records database
- Assist with records retention and destruction processes
- Provide support to the legal records manager as needed
$40,000 - $50,000 a year
