The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible and held accountable for consistently increasing revenue through the generation of new business, managing new & existing client relationships, managing contractors in the field and leading a team of internal staff.


Essential Business Development Manager Duties and Responsibilities:


Generate and qualify requisitions from new / inactive accounts and existing relationships.

Prospect and set meetings with key decision makers with new and inactive accounts focused on relationship-based selling.

Create and maintain a business plan with targeted new accounts utilizing Red Oak Sales methodology. Develop strategy for pro-marketing and instruct delivery team on execution.

Manage people in a specific line of business in an organized and systematic fashion. This includes administering the CCP (Consultant Care Program) and management of field employees.

Develop business through research, lead generation, prospecting, networking and face to face appointments with clientele. Research potential new business and current client and update target list.

Obtain and Maintain active participation and membership in applicable networking organizations.

Meet all minimum requirements for weekly client meetings and revenue growth.

Complete the required sales documentation into Tracker. Maintain and manage integrity of data.

Manage recruiting teams to ensure delivery to client s requisitions.

Meet with inside staff on a regular basis to communicate all client service priorities and business/sales opportunities.

Design and write client proposals.

Manage internal controls and contract compliance.

Requirements:

2 years of Sales experience required.

2+ years of direct sales experience within the Staffing/Recruiting Industry.

Previous experience managing, servicing, supporting, developing and generating client relationships.

Bachelor s Degree preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
