Tall Oaks promises to provide an unparalleled and unique guest experience. We are looking for a passionate, energetic and customer service oriented Event Planner to join our team!

Responsibilities:

The Event and Sales Manager is responsible for fielding incoming reservation requests, developing relationships with vendors and future clients, and securing bookings to meet sales goals.

• Meet with event stakeholders to gain an understanding of the event's purpose and goals
• Outline the scope of the event, including time, date, and budget
• Coordinate event logistics and services, including technology and equipment needed to run the event, food, drinks, and more
• Project manage and ensure event stays within client budget and guidelines
• Effectively attain assigned sales and revenue metrics set by reporting manager and ownership
• Maintain current sales and promotional literature and is well versed in all aspects of the sales sequence
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Coordinates with other departments within the business to ensure key distribution of all pertinent information
• Managing all logistics, vendors, and client relationships up until the end of the day of the event

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business, or Communications
• 3+ Years experience in the Hospitality, Customer Service, Sales or related field
• 1+ Years management experience in the Hospitality, Customer Service, Sales or related field
• 2+ Years' previous experience planning and executing events of varying sizes
• Ability to manage external vendor resources and relationships
• Demonstrated project and time management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Outstanding customer service attributes
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities and duties
• Demonstrated Computer Skills (Microsoft Programs, etc.)
