Logistics Compliance Analyst

General Responsibilities:

The Logistics Compliance Analyst is responsible for managing reviewing, researching, and challenging all charges and performance related to inbound and outbound logistics functions. Track and fight all valid customer deductions and penalties.Track and fight all incorrect charges on Inbound Freight for all modes, air, ocean, parcel, and truck. Leading established cross functional teams focused on compliance to customer shipping requirements, training on new customer routing guides and procedures when applicable. Weekly expectation to summarize findings, develop corrective actions and report results by customer accounts teams.

Examples of Typical Activities (Note these responsibilities may vary)

  • Monitor weekly customer online portals to review deductions and penalties for the period
  • Lead cross functional teams to research root cause and if needed develop corrective action plans for all locations
  • Communicate with internal and external warehouses, customer service rep., sales managers, accounting staff, supply chain planners and Logistics personnel to ensure that customer expectations are being met or exceeded
  • Interact with customer Logistics managers and customer deduction specialist to research deductions and penalties
  • Review all Inbound supplier data for accuracy and compliance
  • Develop KPI tracking and score cards for both Inbound and Outbound Compliance
  • Review all FedEx shipments for over charges, accuracy, and proper allocation of cost, as well as overall Performance.
  • Responsible to report all deduction and penalty findings and resolutions to upper management weekly
  • Work with Evenflo accounting team to ensure alignment and that financial reporting is consistent


Required Experience

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Logistics and/ or Supply Chain.

1 to 3 years of experience required.

Required Technical Competencies

  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (emphasis on Excel), Internet based tracking systems
  • Experience with ERP system, Preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Organization skills
  • Project Management skills
  • Team leadership


Desired Technical Competencies

  • Familiar with Retail Industry compliance requirements
  • Familiar with Global Logistics flow
