POSITION SUMMARY:
Experienced hands-on 3D Designer to lead our team of digital designers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of strategic leadership, deep expertise in Browzwear software, and a passion for driving innovation in digital fashion design.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the 3D design team, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and guidance to foster creativity and innovation.
- Develop and execute a cohesive vision for maximizing Browzwear s 3D design capabilities into our overall design process, with a focus on driving efficiency and reducing time to market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, product development, and technology, to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation using Browzwear software.
- Oversee the creation of accurate and realistic 3D virtual garments, ensuring high-quality rendering, fit, and fabric simulation.
- Drive the development of best practices, standards, and workflows for Browzwear 3D design, ensuring consistency and efficiency across projects.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in 3D design and fashion tech and assess their potential impact on our design process.
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of new features and updates to Browzwear software, working closely with vendors.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define strategic objectives and KPIs for Browzwear 3D design initiatives and provide regular updates on progress and performance.
- Represent the company at conferences and speaking engagements to showcase our expertise in Browzwear 3D design and digital fashion innovation.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the Browzwear 3D design team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
- Extensive experience in 3D fashion design, with a focus on Browzwear software (e.g., VStitcher, Lotta, Fabric Analyzer).
- Proven leadership experience, with a track record of successfully leading and inspiring teams to achieve strategic goals.
- Deep understanding of garment construction, fit, and sewing techniques, with the ability to create realistic fabric simulations and textures.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Passion for fashion, technology, and creativity, with a commitment to driving positive change in the industry.
- Portfolio showcasing a range of 3D design projects and proficiency in Browzwear software.
- Experience in the fashion industry or related fields at a senior or director level is preferred.
