Required experience: At least 10 years of experience in DoD Public Affairs.

Description

  • Respond to routine, non-technical requests for information (RFI); schedule appointments; make arrangements for conferences, meetings, and presentations, including location, schedule, and agenda; and, coordinate all other arrangements with PAO staff/participants.
  • Assist with office procedures, Command protocol, correspondence, messages, reports, forms, filing, mail, training, travel security, personnel procedures, and preparation for office moves.
  • Produce unclassified written and visual (still photo and video) products to keep USCYBERCOM personnel, the U.S. public, and private media properly informed of activities conducted by the Command or impacting the Command.
  • Objectively assess market penetration and public/media perception of the Command's strategic messaging and recommend adjustments as necessary.
  • Provide advice on public messaging to the other J-Directorates during the development of plans, exercises and operations in and through cyberspace.
  • Compose routine/non-technical correspondence, prepare reports, and make content contributions and corrections to internal Command administrative/clerical correspondence or other appropriate subjects Command PAO Products, IAW CDRL D008.
Other duties
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations in support of PAO management briefings.
  • Maintain the Microsoft SharePoint and shared file locations for KM of documentation and office-related information.
  • Provide administrative coordination activities for obtaining spaces to accommodate meetings, working groups, events, conferences, conference support, materials required to support such events, and the IT and audio/visual video teleconference (VTC) services and equipment that may be needed at the UNCLASSIFIED, SECRET, and TOP SECRET levels.
  • Initiate and make recommendations to Government Leadership on process changes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness and on new product/service offerings to enhance support to the PAO.
  • Provide a weekly written Progress, Status and Management Report, IAW CDRL C002 summarizing specific tasks completed/deliverables provided and a brief synopsis of ongoing work that had not yet resulted in a completed deliverable.
