We have an opening for an Operations Support Associate in our Gaithersburg, MD location. Qualified candidates should be able to thrive in our vigorous company atmosphere and possess good communication skills.

Position Summary:

The role of Operations Support Associate is an integral part of Xometry's on-site product builds and requires an individual with solid experience with electro-mechanical assembly and testing completed assemblies.

Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical builds of subassemblies & final assemblies
  • Testing subassemblies & final assemblies
  • Read & interpret both assembly instructions, wiring diagrams, & engineering documents
  • Proactively identify and help address issues with the appropriate groups to assure a smooth & orderly production schedule
  • Become an active member of Process Improvement Teams
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment
  • Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings
  • Basic metal working/machine shop skills, and/or basic PCA (Printed Circuit Assembly) rework and wire soldering skills desired but not required
