Position Title: Research Assistant/Office Manager
Pay Rate: $30.54/hour
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: Ending October 11th 2024
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm (Overtime as needed)
Work Location: Georgetown, Washington, DC
Work Type: Hybrid role, onsite 2 days a week
SUMMARY OF DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will provide essential administrative and operations support in the day-to-day operations and administration of the DC based research team while also working on a variety of projects and departmental initiatives. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coordinate domestic and international travel as well as hotels, car rentals, car services etc with travel agency as requested
Prepare Travel and Entertainment expense reports for reimbursement as well as reconciliation of statements for analysts and associates
Screen phone calls from clients, visitors and greet clients when required, handle all incoming correspondence
Coordinate marketing meetings/events with sales department
Complete and update research analyst calendars as needed
Updating PowerPoint presentations as needed for marketing meetings
Assist in maintaining our client database, log phone calls and emails in CRM as requested/needed
Maintain research data spreadsheets as specified by analysts
Maintain the supplies and orders supplies as needed
Facilitate smooth organization of office operations including point of contact for local office vendors
Support corp access team with hosting of client webinars and staffing for local client events.
Assist in various research related projects as directed by senior analysts.
Perform a range of staff and/or operational support activities; may serve as a liaison with other departments on basic administrative and/or operational matters such as IT and facilities.
MUST HAVE:
Minimum of 5 years of administrative experience
Bachelor's Degree required
Strong proficiency in all MS office applications
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to follow up and see tasks through to completion
Possess strong written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all staff levels internally and externally
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes.
Exhibit adaptability in a team-oriented environment.
