Austin Machine is a manufacturing and assembly company specializing in parts for the aerospace industry. With experienced machinists and an excellent inspection department, we provide quality parts with short lead times and small quantities. Our quality assurance program is certified for the Aerospace Industry with ISO 9001:2008, AS9100C, AS9104A provisions. We use Master Cam, Solidworks, and Unigraphics for programming and offer CNC milling, CNC turning, and conventional machinist techniques.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Computer Numerical Control Machinist located in O'Fallon, MO. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for set-up, operation, and programming of CNC mills and lathes. The CNC Machinist will also be responsible for quality control inspections to ensure parts are made to customer specifications.
Qualifications
- Machine Operation, Machining, and Milling skills
- Experience with quality control inspections
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Knowledge of G-Code programming and CAM software
- Familiarity with CNC mills and lathes
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Aerospace industry experience is a plus
- Trade school or certified apprenticeship
