Job Summary:

Classic Ford - Shelby is seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Service Director to join our team at all locations. As the Automotive Service Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service department, including managing a team of technicians and service advisors, ensuring high quality customer service, and driving profitable growth. This is a full-time position with a base salary plus commission, located in Shelby, North Carolina.

Compensation and Benefits:

Base salary: $80,000 - $150,000 per year
Commission-based compensation
Paid semi-monthly
Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans

Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the service department at all locations, including managing a team of technicians and service advisors.
Ensure that all service operations are performed efficiently and to high quality standards.
Develop and implement strategies to increase service department profitability, including upselling services and products.
Monitor and control expenses related to the service department, including labor, parts, and supplies.
Create and maintain a positive and customer-focused environment, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors to ensure the availability of quality parts at competitive prices.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, implementing new processes and technologies as needed.
Provide training and support to service department staff to ensure they are knowledgeable and capable of delivering high-quality service.
Handle and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Prepare, monitor, and analyze monthly and annual service department budgets.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions and interactions within the service department.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in automotive service management, preferably in a dealership environment.
Proven track record of success in driving profitable growth and managing a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and dealership management systems.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.
