Pivotal are currently working in partnership with a Global manufacturer of Packaging Films. Our client are one of the global market leaders within their field, boasting a major presence across Europe, USA and Asia.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to optimize resource allocation and drive profitability
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and board of directors based on financial analysis and insights
Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and provide actionable recommendations to management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and financial best practices.
Capital Management and Financing
- Manage the company's capital structure and liquidity, including debt and equity financing
- Evaluate investment opportunities, M&A transactions, and capital allocation decisions to maximize shareholder value
- Maintain relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions to secure funding and support growth initiatives.
Risk Management
- Identify and assess financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Monitor and report on key financial metrics and performance indicators to track risk exposure and inform decision-making
Treasury and Cash Management
- Optimize cash flow management and liquidity by forecasting cash needs, managing working capital, and optimizing banking relationships
Role Requirements:
- Min. 10 years in senior financial leadership roles
- Must have working experience in industrials and manufacturing setups
- Deep understanding of financial principles, accounting standards and financial reporting
- Experience working in global teams and with different nationalities
- Bachelor's degree in business or finance
