Commercial Painting Assistant Project Manager

Job Type: Full-time

General:

We are looking for an individual who will be working in close partnership with other team members to ensure a respectful company atmosphere, profitability, and client satisfaction.

You must be independent and have the ability to deal with conflict in a constructive manner.

Our projects are painting, decorating, wallcovering, high performance coatings and upscale finishes in the Commercial construction industry. Variety of projects from small to large in size of over $1,000,000.00.

Prerequisites:

Ability to multitask and keep up in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to read drawings efficiently.

Attention to detail.

Organizational skills.

Communication skills.

Working knowledge of Procore / Microsoft word / Adobe / PowerPoint

Project management assistance:

Closely cooperate with Project managers and/or supervisors in the field.

Provide support for multiple small / large / complex commercial painting projects from start to finish.

Provide project set up and other project related administrative support.

Keep project information neat and organized.

Communicate clearly and effectively as new information becomes available to keep everyone informed.

Obtain material pricing from various vendors.

Run submittal process and ensure timely and complete submittal deliveries.

Assist in resolving scope items as they come up during course of the project.

Assist with communication between the field / office / clients.

Assist with change order pricing and ticket work processing.

Create purchase orders and oversee deliveries of specialty materials.

Assist with vendor management.

Assist in project close out.
