Lake Guntersville Ace Hardware General Summary The Mechanic will assist with Sthil and small engine repair. This position may assist in the receiving, stocking, pricing of merchandise and help maintain a clean and orderly merchandise presentation and overall store cleanliness. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Store Operations Assist in creating a positive, professional and safe work environment. Assist with stocking and assembly of merchandise. Assist with maintaining back stock levels. Operate forklift with proper training. Participate in store meetings. Be professional in appearance and actions. Perform all other duties as assigned. Other Essential Requirements Proficient in 2 Cycle & 4 Cycle Engine Repair Experience in Small Engine Electrical Components and Repair Education/Training High School or GED equivalent. Experience Formal mechanic experience preferred Formal Mechanic certification is a PLUS Physical Demands Standing, walking, lifting (up to 25lbs) and climbing.
