Location: United States (Remote or Office-Based in California)

Compensation: $200,000 - $300,000 USD (Estimated Annual Salary)


Company Overview: Our customer is a fast-growing logistics company committed to providing innovative and efficient solutions for the clients. The expertise spans across various logistics services, including supply chain management, transportation, and warehousing. As they continue to expand the footprint globally, they are looking for a seasoned Business Consultant to join the business team on a part-time, consultancy basis.


Position Overview: We are seeking a Business Consultant to assist with account maintenance and resource connection within the logistics and transportation sectors. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive network and experience to introduce valuable business leads and resources to our company. This role is non-full-time and requires a strategic thinker with a proven background in logistics, specifically someone who has held a Director or higher position at leading logistic company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the introduction of new business leads and resources relevant to the logistics and transportation services.
  • Assist in maintaining and developing relationships with key accounts, particularly in warehouse and transportation management.
  • Utilize your network to connect with potential clients and partners in the logistics industry.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on industry knowledge and experience.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to align consultancy efforts with company goals.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate part-time consultancy work, either remotely or from our office in California.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in the logistics industry, preferably having served as a Director or higher at logistics company.
  • Proven ability to connect and network with key stakeholders within the logistics and transportation sectors.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse and transportation account management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to provide high-level consultancy.
  • No nationality requirements, though there is a preference for candidates with a strong network in the US logistics market.
  • Ability to work remotely or from our California office, with occasional travel as needed.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrated success in managing and growing key accounts within the logistics industry.
  • Ability to leverage a broad network to generate new business opportunities.
  • Experience in working with regional managers and understanding their account needs and challenges.
  • Background in strategic planning and execution in a logistics context.
