Job Description: Senior Product Designer
About the job:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Product Designer to join our team as part of the founding team. In this role, you will work closely with the leadership team to bring their vision to life, you will own the end-to-end user experience, focusing on creating intuitive, efficient, and engaging interfaces. As the first design hire you would have a significant impact on company's brand, product and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deeply understand the customer problem.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and marketing to ensure a we are solving the customer problems.
- Utilize customer feedback and analytics to inform design decisions and iterate on existing designs.
- Conduct user research, create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma.
- Design clear, delightful interfaces that help customers achieve their goals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor products to ensure our designs are cutting-edge and effective.
- Work with the marketing team on establishing company's design-language and brand.
- Work with the marketing team on on-going design needs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B enterprise software product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Experience in the Observability space & adjunct markets is a plus.
- Proficiency in Figma and other design tools.
- Proficiency in user analytics solutions.
- Startup experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and advocate for the user.
