Job Details
This position will provide outpatient therapy, including individual and group services, for busy Article 31 county-run mental health clinic, 35-hr work week. Professional individual and group supervision will be provided as well as ongoing training and continued education units. Focused training opportunities available. Will reimburse cost of licensure.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A Master s Degree in social work from a graduate school of social work approved by the New York Department of Education AND current professional licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) granted by the New York State Education Department.
NOTE: This will be a provisional civil service appointment. Candidate will be required to take the civil service exam when it is scheduled in the future. Permanent appointment will be dependent upon candidate's exam score.
