LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a talented Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator. In this role, you will play a vital part in coordinating transportation, managing purchase orders, and maintaining strong relationships with overseas vendors. This is a fully on-site position in Montgomery County, PA.
Position Title: Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate transportation providers to ensure timely and proper movement of shipments.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of purchase orders.
- Verify accuracy of all purchasing-related data in SAP ERP system.
- Audit purchase order shipping documents and arrange payment to vendors.
- Negotiate lead time, price, and payment terms with vendors.
- Cultivate collaborative relationships with overseas vendors and conduct annual assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Resolve shipment and inventory issues, such as shortages or damages.
- Analyze product sales to track inventory trends.
- Collaborate with various departments including Quality, Accounting, Sales, Marketing, and Account Management to support growth opportunities while managing inventory levels effectively.
- Assist the Supply Chain Manager with production planning for international suppliers, ensuring timely production and adjusting schedules as needed.
- Propose solutions for process improvements and assist in their implementation.
- Ensure that all provided services meet required quality standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager.
Skills/Requirements:
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Bilingual proficiency preferred (Mandarin Chinese, Korean, etc.)
- Ability to effectively communicate with overseas vendors on a daily/weekly basis, considering time zone differences (13-hour time difference)
- Preferred Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or International Trading
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Compensation and Benefits:
- $50,000-$60,000
