Due to growth, we have openings for Attorneys to work out of our greater Orland Park IL location. We offer a positive work culture that values work-life balance. 2 + years of business transaction or Real Estate Transaction experience.
The business Transactional Lawyer provides legal advice and work product to a supervising attorney or client. In addition, this position:
- Drafts all necessary legal documents relating to client s business plan in a timely and consistent manner.
- Meets with clients and counsels them on their business planning needs.
- Strategizes re: business formations, asset sales and acquisitions, conversions and mergers, business succession planning, financing, dissolutions, and duties of owners.
- Conducts legal research.
- Interprets laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses. May confer with colleagues with specialty in certain areas for optimal client outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Admitted to and active member of the IL State Bar Association
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the practice of business transactions or Real estate or entity formation.
- Ability to regularly delegate work to staff and work within a team environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to understand, analyze, interpret and convey complex information and concepts.
- Demonstrated record of excellent client service.
- Sound organizational skills. Detail-oriented and capable of handling a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.
- Prioritize multiple tasks to meet critical deadlines.
Compensation:
