**Cultivation Team Member**
Cultivation/Harvest Full Time Pembroke, ON
**Job Description**
GlassHouse Botanics Inc, a licensed Cannabis producer, is looking to hire Cultivation Team members to work on our Cultivation Teams and/or Post Harvest Team. Working under the direction of a Team Leader, Cultivation Team members will be performing tasks at different stages of the growing process from clone to harvest, to dry and packaging. Activities can include plant care, cloning, transplanting, pruning, trellis installation, defoliation, harvesting, trimming, packaging, sanitation etc.
**Duties include but are not limited to:**
* Supporting plant related activities such as: transplanting, trellis installation, inspections, watering, and harvesting as directed by the Team Lead.
* Supporting sanitation related activities such as: cleaning of rooms, tools and other materials. This work can be physically challenging and requires you to work in tight spaces, on your feet all day, operating a pressure washer, or using a mop.
* Supporting Post Harvest duties such as: bucking (bud removal), trimming, packaging and sanitation.
* Communicate with Team members and Team Lead efficiently and in a timely manner when tasks are completed, or direction is required.
* Recording completed tasks to ensure traceability and compliance with regulations.
* Operate machinery as required (e.g., foamer, pressure washer, trimming and bucking machines)
* Working outside on occasion, when asked.
* Inventory of plants as required.
**Members of the Cultivation team are expected to:**
* Follow and enforce all regulatory requirements under the Cannabis Act and Regulations as well as GlassHouse Botanics Standard Operating Procedures.
* Document activities and ensure all production and traceability records are completed to the highest standard, as directed by the Team Lead.
* Support the Team Lead to help complete day to day tasks.

**Candidates may have the Opportunity to learn how to:**

**Education & Experience** *a combination of education and experience will be considered.*
* Horticultural program or bachelors degree in agriculture sciences is an asset, but not required
* Experience within the industry and/or greenhouse environment is an asset, but not required
* Hands on experience with the plant is an asset, but not required
**Conditions of employment:** Must be 18+ with the ability to obtain and maintain an RCMP security clearance throughout your employment.
**Job Specific Demands:** Applicants must be fit and able to lift 50 lbs comfortably. Applicants must be flexible to work variable shifts and have reliable transportation. Hours are full time but may include weekends or evenings, depending on production needs. Some tasks require standing or sitting for extended periods of time.
**Our Environment:** Plants like heat and humidity. To be successful in this position you need to be comfortable working in an enclosed environment with high heat and humidity, wear protective clothing, hair covering and other Personal Protective Equipment.
**Please note, during the summer months, our work hours shift to a 5:00am start in order to limit worker activity during the hottest times of the day. During winter, our hours shift to 6:00am start for Cultivation Team Members.**
