Housekeeping Manager
The Director of Housekeeping is required to have a proven background in housekeeping with demonstrated ability to drive guest satisfaction, financial results and employee engagement. He/she must have the ability to motivate and lead a vibrant and diverse team while managing to the cleanliness and performance standards of the property.

- Complete administrative duties, to include scheduling, payroll reporting, maintaining productivity through labor management programs (Watson), colleague documentation and performance reviews
- Oversee departmental hiring, training, coaching, evaluating and managing colleagues to ensure they have adequate guidance and resources to achieve department objectives
- Ensure performance management principles are instituted and followed
- Work closely with the Director of Engineering to manage Preventative Maintenance and Deep Clean Programs
- Champion guest satisfaction results through the Trust You program and follow up within the department
- Conduct regular leadership and colleague briefings
- Interpret Colleague Engagement scores and create action plans with department
- Take an active role in the hotel sustainability committee and evaluate all duties for sustainable principles
- Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum 2 years progressive Housekeeping or Rooms Management experience, preferably in a luxury property
- Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required, and OPERA PMS advantageous
Hands on management style with ability to lead through example
Strong organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, with great communication ability
Visa Requirements: Must have proof of valid U.S. work authorization.

- University/College degree in a related discipline an asset
