Job Details

**Job Summary:** * Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them.

* Supervise stock order procedures

* Develop and administer an aggressive parts sales strategy to produce profit

* Ensure high-quality level of service provided to customers both internal and external

* Analyze sales, expenses and inventory to maintain profit goals

* Oversee and resolve customer complaints quickly and effectively

* Determine parts sales methodologies and job flows to maximize the effectiveness, efficiency and customer satisfaction of the parts functions.

* Develop and monitor performance standards and measurements.

* Develop and maintain all parts efficiency and management reports and reporting methods.

* Provide the direction and leadership required to achieve professional parts sales and parts processes at profitability and customer service/customer satisfaction standards.

* Conduct regular parts meetings and training sessions to communicate company objectives and policies, to develop specialized skills and to encourage employee participation and personal growth.

* Observe parts personnel in job circumstances and provide the coaching necessary to develop additional skills, job effectiveness and efficiency to maintain high quality work in the department.

* Supervise all direct reports and provide individuals the guidance required for them to reach both their corporate and personal goals.

* Continually monitor the progress of the department and individuals in parts group toward the customer satisfaction, market penetration and profit goals.

* Conduct regular (not less than monthly) meetings with the parts group personnel to compare performance with standards and goals.

* Take necessary action(s) to assist individuals in achieving their goals.

* Develop on-schedule sales and expense budgets in conjunction with the supervisors and lead hands.

* High School Diploma or GED

* Preferred Technical Degree with emphasis on Equipment Operation and/or General Management.

* Preferred experience as manager with the responsibility for service functions, including supervision of personnel.
