**Description**

Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and

standards of practice.

Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical

treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.

Documents patient care given.

Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and

family.

Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and

ambulation.

Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge,

referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.

Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age,

culture, condition, and circumstances.

Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

**What you should know about the Team Leader, Service Support role:**

The Service Desk Team Lead is a key role, tasked with managing a team of Service Desk Analysts. The SDTL is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day effectiveness of service provisioning and ensuring that targets are met. The SDTL is expected to work closely with the SDM and the SDAs, including but not limited to, assisting with escalations, delegating responsibility, &, drive service improvements. The SDTL will advise on IT related issues, develop working relationships within IT and outside departments, build a collaborative culture within the Service Desk, fostering communication and commitment to the goals of the department.

**In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:**

* Provide direction and support to Service Desk Analysts.

* Provide Tier 2+ ServiceDesk support.

* Monitor the Service Desk portal for tickets assigned, prioritize, and respond quickly and effectively to requests received.

* Troubleshoot problems and support requests received through our ticketing system, phone calls and emails.

* Manage SLAs, and other performance metrics.

**To be successful, your background should match these qualifications:**

* Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and two years of related experience; or

equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Microsoft Windows 10 & Microsoft Office 2016/365, ServiceNow / Other ITSM tools, RDP / Remote Control applications, WebEx / Other Video Conferencing tools, McAfee / Other Antivirus applications, Cisco Finesse / Other Phone System tools, Cisco Jabber / Other Messaging Tools, Mapping Drives, file searching

* Superb communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills a must.

* A positive attitude. Organizational and Multitasking skills.

* Ability to be a team player, working well with others.

* An active / empathetic listener. Honesty, integrity, and empathy.

* Experience in delivering excellent customer service.

* Experience with ServiceNow cloud application.
