**Position Details** **:**

* 1st Shift (6:00 am-3:30 pm

* Monday Friday: 40+ hour week with overtime available on Saturdays

* Pay Range: Starting pay at $19.50/hr. starting wage!

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Responsible for transporting any raw materials and containers to appropriate areas.

* Assists in inspection as to quantity, type, size, part numbers, dimensions, etc. to properly identify materials.

* Prepares appropriate paperwork and/or records for processing.

* Moves products, supplies and returned goods to appropriate locations in production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks as needed.

* Ensures the use of FIFO practices when pulling components for production

* Maintains a clean, safe and organized material drop / staging areas and aisles and exits in the plant.

* Ensures forklift trucks are operational through daily checks for working mechanical and hydraulic conditions and safety devices.

**Job Qualifications:**

* Some high school or equivalent experience.

* Must have some computer knowledge including adequate computer data entry skills.

* Must have mechanical aptitude and ability and be able to identify problems with forklifts.

* Six to twelve months of material handling or warehouse work experience.

* Must have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with coworkers and supervisors.

* Must have and wear protective gear designated for the Department and job.

* Must be able to climb on and off the forklift repeatedly during the work day.

* Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.
